Geared for ages 6-13, get ready for some creative fun this summer! Each week is a new theme with supportive and experienced art teachers.

From 9am-12pm Monday through Friday, kids will enjoy working with hands-on creative projects, concluding with a mini-exhibition! Register now while spots are still available! WEEK 1

June 29- July 3 2026 from 9am-12pm
Art and Nature with Aliah Marden

Spark your child's imagination this summer with our Art and Nature summer camp week! This hands-on class invites young artists to explore the outdoors and transform natural findings into unique masterpieces. Discover creativity with nature and watch your child's artistic skills blossom in a fun, supportive environment! Kids should bring a snack and water bottle, parents are welcome to drop off starting at 8:50 am and pickup should be promptly at noon. On Friday, we welcome family and friends to see their artwork in a mini-exhibition from 11:30-12pm.

Program Schedule:

  • Monday: Bottle Cap Flowers: Upcycle everyday items into a vibrant garden of "blooms" using colorful bottle caps and artistic flair.
  • Tuesday: Sun Prints: Experience the magic of cyanotypes by using the power of the sun to create stunning blue-and-white impressions of leaves and flowers.
  • Wednesday: Creative Bugs: Bring the garden to life by crafting whimsical insects and friendly garden critters from assorted materials.
  • Thursday: Leaf Rubbings & Prints: Discover the intricate textures of nature through classic rubbing techniques and colorful leaf printing.
  • Friday: Ocean Adventures: Dive into creativity with beach-themed art, capturing the beauty of the sea with shells, sand, and ocean waves. Parents are invited to join for a mini exhibition 11:30-12 pm!

WEEK 2

July 6-10, 2026 from 9am-12pm
Magical Mark Making with Marisa Companion

What is the power in a crayon mark or a brush stroke? Self confidence! This class gives your child a chance to harness their vision through mark making. Artists will learn new line making techniques while getting inspiration from the master artists. This class is a great opportunity for your child to develop their skills while having fun! Kids should bring a snack and water bottle, parents are welcome to drop off starting at 8:50 am and pickup should be promptly at noon. On Friday, we welcome family and friends to see their artwork in a mini-exhibition from 11:30-12pm.

WEEK 3

July 13 - July 17, 2026 from 9am-12pm
Uniquely You - Abstract Acrylics with Jennifer Jarvis

Young artists will explore abstract acrylic painting techniques, color mixing and artistic self discovery. What are the ways we can express ourselves with paint? This is the week we find out! Although we have aprons, artists should wear clothes that can get a little paint on them. We really get into our discovery of acrylic paint as a medium and our unique artistic styles. Artists should bring a snack and a water bottle. Drop off is between 8:50- 9:00 am and pick up is at 12:00pm.

Program Schedule:

  • Monday: Curiosity & Discovery - Getting to know each other, the paint brushes, the colors, the canvas and the paint.
  • Tuesday: Movin and Grovin - Moving our bodies and canvas to direct the paint.
  • Wednesday: Exploring size, shape and multiple perspectives What happens if we do this?
  • Thursday: How I see me - Abstract Self Portraits
  • Friday:Community Collaboration and Celebration - Working together as a creative team on a community abstract painting. We will be welcoming the young artist’s families to a mini - exhibition at 11:30 am on this day to celebrate with us and to make their artistic mark on our community painting. Not artistic? No problem your children will teach you how to find your inner artist.

WEEK 4

July 20-24, 2026 from 9am-12pm
Earth Friendly Art with Danielle Festa and Brandy Patterson

Connect with nature and ignight creativity through hands-on sustainable art projects! Kids will explore eco-friendly ways to create by making their own paper and paint, building fairy gardens, weaving with twigs, and more. Each day brings a new opportunity for imaginative, nature-inspired fun. Kids should bring a snack and water bottle, parents are welcome to drop off starting at 8:50 am and pickup should be promptly at noon. On Friday, we welcome family and friends to see their artwork in a mini-exhibition from 11:30-12pm.

Program Schedule:

  • Monday: Paper making, from pulp to pages with Danielle
  • Tuesday: Design your own fairy rock gardens with Danielle
  • Wednesday: Terra cotta pot painting and planting seeds for future flower inspiration with Danielle
  • Thursday: Concoct different plant based color "recipes" and test the colors on a variety of textiles with Brandy
  • Friday: Utilizing the dyed materials from Thursday, students will be introduced to twig weaving. Parents are invited to join for a mini exhibition 11:30-12 pm!

WEEK 5

July 27-31, 2026 from 9am-12pm
Clay, Clay and More Clay! With Marisa Companion

In this class your child will experiment with the 3d world of clay! Every class will be a new style of clay making. Toward the end of the week they will come up with a short script for a claymation we will film on Friday! Kids should bring a snack and water bottle, parents are welcome to drop off starting at 8:50 am and pickup should be promptly at noon. On Friday, we welcome family and friends to see their artwork in a mini-exhibition from 11:30-12pm.

  • Tuesday: Planning out our claymation
  • Wednesday: Making clay
  • Thursday: Making more clay
  • Friday: Claymation Time Parents are invited to join for a mini exhibition and performance 11:30-12 pm!

WEEK 6

August 3-7, 2026 from 9am-12pm
Art in the Moment with Marisa Companion

This class is all about impressionism, art & movement! Every class will start out with a little bit of dancing and then go into learning and emulating the styles of great painters of the Impressionist Movement like Monet and Degas. Before long, your child will be their own little Monets! Kids should bring a snack and water bottle, parents are welcome to drop off starting at 8:50 am and pickup should be promptly at noon. On Friday, we welcome family and friends to see their artwork in a mini-exhibition from 11:30-12pm.

WEEK 7

Aug 10-14, 2026 from 9am-12pm
Tie Dyes + Spin Art with Jade Ruscio

Kids will experiment with marbling, tie dye, spin art, printmaking, and watercolor techniques using a variety of fun materials and rainbow-inspired designs. Each day introduces a new hands-on process that encourages creativity, color mixing, and playful artistic exploration. On Friday, we welcome family and friends to see their artwork in a mini-exhibition from 11:30-12pm.

Program Schedule:

  • Monday: Monet marbling, using chalk shavings/powder to marble paper
  • Tuesday: Tie dye drawstring bags with koolaid
  • Wednesday: Spin art with paper and watered-down washable paint, I am going to get a few lazy-susans, use gorilla putty to adhere paper to it, spin it inside a cardboard box
  • Thursday: Tie dye paper prints, first drawing with black markers on paper, then drawing with bright color markers on aluminum, spray with water then press paper with black drawing on the colored foil
  • Friday: Wet on wet watercolor tie dye painting, using bright rainbow colors on wet paper with watercolor. Parents are invited to join for a mini exhibition 11:30-12 pm!

WEEK 8

August 17 - August 21, 2026 from 9am-12pm
Wire sculptures with Jennifer Jarvis

This week we will follow your children’s imaginations along the twists and turns of wire sculpture! We will be using non toxic plastic coated wire and repurposed treasures. Our medium this week is easy to bend, twist, shape and cut with regular scissors. With its vibrant colors and endless possibilities this is the perfect medium for young artists to explore their imagination and innovation. We will spend our week using our hands and minds to turn simple wire into imaginative masterpieces. Daily drop off between 8:50- 9:00am with pick up at 12:00pm. All young artists should bring a snack, water bottle and their imagination. On Friday, we welcome family and friends to see their artwork in a mini-exhibition from 11:30-12pm.

Program Schedule:

  • Monday:Introductions and exploration - Getting to know each other and the wire
  • Tuesday:Sculpture Selfies - Creating Wire Self Portraits
  • Wednesday:Resources & Repurposing - Investigating our surroundings. What creative resources are available to us? How can we use these materials to inspire us? How can these resources shape our wire and add to our sculptures? Multi media wire sculpting.
  • Thursday:Collaborative Sculpture - Working as a team. Listening and sharing each other's ideas. Working together as a creative collective on a group wire sculpture.
  • Friday: Wrapping it up - Finishing up our sculptures and preparing to share our work with families and friends. We will be welcoming the young artist’s families to a mini - exhibition at 11:30 on this day to share their work. Parents are invited to join for a mini exhibition 11:30-12 pm!

WEEK 9

Aug 24-28, 2026 from 9am-12pm
Zen Art + Movement with Danielle Festa and Marissa Thibeau

A fun, creative, and active week where kids get to move, make art, and try something new. The week mixes simple yoga, hands-on art projects, and interactive activities. From drawing and painting to creative design and movement, kids will explore ways to express themselves while staying active and off screens. Along the way, they’ll build focus, try out simple ways to reset when they feel overwhelmed, and create projects they feel proud to bring home. As part of the week, kids will also create small painted stones. Keeping some for themselves and sharing others out in the community as simple, creative acts of kindness. By the end of the week, each child will have their own “calm and creativity kit” filled with items they can use at home, school, or anywhere they need a reset. Please bring a water bottle and a yoga mat if available (mats are not required). Come ready to jump in and have a great week!
